Coffee Education carousel

This was a six-part education series implemented across LinkedIn, Instagram, online and the 'Friends of Merlo' EDM.

Together with Merlo Coffee and your new mate Dave, we embarked on an adventure to Brazil in the mini-series, Merlo Coffee Roasters Big Origin adventure to Brazil.

Together we learnt about coffee farming, distribution, cupping and more, as we set out to visit the best major and micro coffee plantations across Brazil.

Working with Australian Venue Co. i’ve had the opportunity to complete works on a few of their sites. Including Riverside Bar, The Wickham and The Gardiner Hotel in Melbourne.

For Riverside Bar, I designed a large-scale wrap for an alternating shipping container kitchen, along with a hand-painted pattern to personalise an Australian-themed kitchen and bar. The Japan pattern was based off of the street food you can find when visiting Osaka.

For the Garinder Hotel, I designed a 13m custom wallpaper to align with the brand guideline, while referencing the venues historical roots. Throughout this project, clear communication with the design team in Victoria was key, especially during the pitching and drafting phases, to ensure the final product met the brief and was delivered to the printer on time for installation.

In December 2024, I worked on designing the packaging and assets for Bean of the Month at Merlo Coffee.

Each month the reaches a new destination to offer a new limited edition single origin.

For December Bean of the Month, Rosa Apaneca - El Salvador, the coffee featured festive notes of toffee apple, candied cherry and dates, with a captivating blackberry aroma stirring thoughts of mulled wine.

Using these flavour notes and El Salvador as inspiration, I designed the moody yet enchanting design.

In November 2024, I worked on designing the packaging and assets for a limited edition coffee collaboration with Surf Life Saving Queensland, Rescue Blend

Rescue Blend is available online with $7 from each order supporting a local surf club of your choice.

This design project included, final bag design, a counter unit for each surf club and digital assets to promote the collaboration across social media, EDM and paid advertising.
